Week re:call

Hello world.

Revision classes have already begun.
I've finished attending my UOL revision class for International Relations by Dr.Chris Alden.
Whhat can I say.
He's a really good teacher.
He's very good with his concepts.
He's very clear in getting the idea across.
I've very much seen the light after attending his lessons.
Both from 1000HRS - 1700HRS.
Tiring it maybe, but well worth it.
And the money too.

Went for D.Ramirez last friday.
Dishing out what was expected.
It wasn't exceptionally good, but it wasn't bad either.
Just, better then average.

Another gig I attended was 2ManyDJs on friday.
What a MASSIVE set!
The first track probably killed everyone on the dancefloor.
Sounds of erol alkan , justice, soulwax, digitalism rolled out.
Remixes of BLUR, Nirvana, Killers got people singing along.
Just pure, madness.

I went to check my status on www.NS.sg a few days back.
I was lucky that I actually went to check my status.
I had to attempt IPPT before my birthday this year!
And I thought my IPPT window only opens after my birthday this year.
Fucking S1 TAN BOO BOY!
She told me only after my birthday next year will my IPPT window open.
I don't want to be fined for not taking IPPT man.
But then again, there's money dropping down from the skies above.
Who doesn't want to take it? :)

Went for my BMT mate Sorrace's wedding yesterday.
You know, its my first time going to an indian wedding.
It was really an eye opener to see their customs.
And everyone decked out in blingbling gold all over their necks.
"indian god incense", the random thumping of some drum and random blowing of the trumpet (sounds very experimental actually :P).
The food was, well actually not an eye opener because we were really expecting a curry meal. Haha.
But the best part was meeting up with BMT mates after nearly 8 months since we ORDed.
There wasn't alot of us present in the first place. Just a handful of us.
Very pleased to see Sorrace getting married. He's the first among the taurusONE to get hitched.
Fucking hell, WHO'S NEXT!!?? LOL!
We parted ways after the wedding, leaving only me, Yee Hsien, Kenny and Stephen.
We decided to head down to Vie Bar at Siglap for a few drinks.
Arh, the conversation was as everyone expected. BMT days, worklife (although I have none to begin with),you know lah, boy's stuff.

This week's gig pick would probably be Gareth Emery at ZOUK on friday.
Nothing beats having some trance stuff to round off a monthful of house.

After almost a month of no classes.

A month of late night.

A month of waking up in the noon.

A month of studying frm late noon till midnights.

Yea, you can say all you want about good life and whateverfuckshitandidungiveaflyingdamn.

And lead the life of a normal person.

Monday is the start of revision classes.

Its time to retune the bio-clock.

Hello world.

Was working for the past week.
Yeah the IT Show at Suntec City.
Have you got your stuffs?
Busy like a bee during the show.
Sales was, brilliant. To the point that I couldn't believe it myself either.

Watched 300 yesterday.
The best show I've caught this year.
After Pursuit of Happiness.
Non stop action.
Non stop slashing.
Thats how epic movies should be made.

7 more weeks to my first paper.
And en route to revision.
International Relations.
How ah?

Hello world

weird time to blog uh.

was at Laurent Garnier's gig just now.
Great.
But not hard enough I guess.
Was with Mike, Andee, Moses and Lam-San.
And some of Mike's mates.
Was pretty housey at the start, went towards techno in the middle and I left when he start playing breaks.
Not a fan though of breaks lah.
We just need more pounding pounding techno music.

Would have stayed longer but all my mates were leaving.
Pointless to stay on right alone right haha.

when exams come in the midst of holidays

Gong xi fa cai.
Its still new year now uh..

How was your new year?
Mine was pretty fine.
After 4 days of hectic blackjacks, mahjong & baccarat.
Overall I made a profit of....

Well, better to profit then to be in the red.

It was usual. Going to relative's houses. Go here, go there.
What caught my eye was my cousin's home.
Yeah that Colonel.
He lives in some condo along Bukit Timah road.
For him, its just temporary. He's looking to move to somethign bigger.
But I really like his crib.
It was on the first floor.
Just beside the pool.
3 Bedrooms. A small garden. Really small.
A small kitchen. A small living room.
It wasn't about the small.
I find it, perfect.
Not very big.
Pretty hard to explain, just get the idea. Hopefully next time I can show some pictures.

I met up with Keech, yeah short form of Qizhi on friday.
The initial plan was Zouk.
But somehow or rather, we ended up at MOS.
It was only my third time there. Don't really fancy that place.
But the music was pretty acceptable except for some cheesy tunes. lol.

Went to "The Cage" at Kallang for the first time too.
2am - 4am.
Its bigger then your street soccer court.
Artificial grass.
No out line. Can you fucking imagine! hahaha!
Playing in the court for 30 mins with a work rate of 20 could get you killed if you haven't been running for 1 year.
Its true.

Mock exams has just started.
Just took my first paper on wednesday.
Economics.
Well, I was confident enough to go take it.
Not that bad lar!
Ir mock is later.
Givin it a miss.
Cause you have to write at least 5 pages for them to mark it.
I can't write 5 pages man cause I can't finish 3 questions.
Might as well get the question paper practice at home and mail to the teacher.
Yes.
I'm disciplined enough.
I'm not going to screw up my revision schedule for the mock man.
I'm going for all the papers though.
Just do what I know. Get a feel.
