routine work.

EX EARTHWORM has ended this week for the trainees.
which means for the next 3 weeks, its gonna be plain theory all the way. Lectures galore by RSM.
We'll just let him run the whole show. (:

I went to SIM on friday with Michael to apply for the UOL course.
I didn't really know SIM was at Clementi in the first place, I've always thoughted it was at Dhobby ghault or somewhere else but what the heck SIM, SMU. I must have been confused.

Come to think of the location of the school, its a little far for me considering that I stay in the far east. Smack right to the extreme which comes in the name of Pasir Ris.
Its gonna take me at least an hour to reach Clementi MRT everyday for school.
MRT station uh, I still need to take a bus to that place.

Anyway, I've applied for the banking and finance degree offered by UOL at SIM. I brought along all my transcripts and the nescessary stuff. BUT!
I did not bring the original copy of my transcript and cert to prove to them that my photocopied stuff are real.
So, as it goes, I have to go back there again this coming friday to authenticate my papers. DAMN.

Spent the whole day in town with Mike, Sim, Moses and Matthew. We were slacking around in town and the usual was get a drink, have a seat, and discuss everything.
Actually, there wasn't much of a discussion going on, 1/2 the time we were talking bullshite, disturbing each other. I wouldn't label that as a discussion in much sense. Haha...

We did the worst thing that one could do when they are bored in town. And that was gaming.
Damn! We played CS:Source for about 2 hours before we headed down to Geylang for some Beef Horfun.
It was my first time playing CS:Source since it was launch, or should I say it was the first time I touched the game since I quitted it about 3 years back. Well, skill is forever. What can ya say? Hahahaha....

Stayed at home for the majority of saturday and finished 2 movies which I've just bought.
Both movies were labelled by the majority as "boring".
But what the fuck man.
Ocean's Twelve and Seven Swords.
Is it that boring?
I've got friends telling me that they fell asleep while watching it or whatsoever but hey I find both movies very interesting and intriguing.

Went off to meet Scott later to Bliss @ Punggol Park (YET AGAIN!!).
Met up with the same people as last week with an additon people like Derek and Colin.
The guys were all talking about their rides, how to modify them and where to get the cheaper deals around in town.
Kinda out for me since I've no car to call my own. Boh bian, no money.
Anyway I'm not really interested in cars anyway. As long as it moves, its fine with me.
I couldn't really get into what they're saying, or should I say, I never tried in the first place to get in it. Not my kinda topic. lol.
In the end I spent the night talking to Alyssa and Jimmy about life, studies, career blah blah. Much better topics then cars. hahaha just my opinion. (:
The night came to an end when we headed down to Geyland (YET AGAIN!!) for some mee sua and tao huay.
Its been a long time since I ate there so, might as well. (:

Inclement Weather

The weather's been a little tad too bad for the past 1 week, except for the fact that it was sunny yesterday.
Continous days of rain sure dampened a lot of people's mood, especially when the Lunar New Year is just around the corner.

I did my fair share of shopping for the New Year too.
Having spent near to $300 on clothes already.
Utterly burned.
Bought myself 3 new tees for the coming New Year.
1x Jacket by Nike from Limited Edition
3x Tees from Stussy, Headline and Surrender each...

I couldn't find any pictures for any of the tees I bought except for the Surrender one...
heres a look

Overview of the Pocket tee from Surrender

The Front Pocket

The Print at the back of the tee. UNKLEFILM LTD.

Dope? Up to you. Just wanted to share the pictures cause I thought this tee really cost me some money.
Call me cocky or what I don't care, but I find this tee dope. Nuff Said.

EX STEELWALL just ended on thursday. Which means its EX EARTHWORM this coming week.
I'll probably be staying in the whole week.
Look on the brightside of things, another 1 more month and their 2 weeks of OJT will begin.
And to follow up on the previous post,
The Beginning of The End.

I was beginning to wonder.
What criteria, or what qualities does it take to be a commander?
To be able to go to SISPEC / OCS after BMT.
What are the conditions.
Its been a year since I passed out.
And the ugly side of things are beginning to show up.
Lazy people. Slackers.
They don't deserve to be commanders.
They don't deserve the rank in the first place.
They don't lead by example.
There's no commanding quality in these people at all.
They deserve no respect as a commander.
Who am I talking about?
Nuff Said.

I spend last night hanging out with Scott, Alyssa, Jimmy, Gary and Vicky at Bliss Cafe at Punggol Park having supper.
Its a very nice and cooling place, with some great drinks over there.
Definitely a good place to slack a night away.
Me, Jimmy & Alyssa were discussing about overseas travel and, food.
Both were hot topics and to speak of overseas holiday sparked off a mini debate in my mind.
This year, I'm going on another overseas trip. I'm already saving up.
But where?
Bangkok?
or Hong Kong?
Which one is better?
No idea.
We'll see.

the beginning of the end

Happy Nu-Year.
Guess everyone's still in the mood.
The holiday mood...

I'm already overwhelmed.
Seeing the 11th ASLC...
The mood is here...
Here to stay...

And the beginning of the end...
The final countdown...

216 as of today.

Still long but, what the heck.
Its not illegal right?
Perfectly normal.
For a guy whose takeover has arrived.

The O and the R are here to stay. For good.

All there's left now is just the D.

I'm waiting. And counting down.
