an insomnia post.

Hello world.

Its the end of the month already, and how fast it is as we are soon coming to the end of the year 2006.
Like a twinkling of an eye.

Here's some stuff I did in between my posts, some afterthoughts (hopefully if I feel like typing suddenly)

Was at Armin's gig last saturday.
Yeah sure we do dig trance.
But.
Definitely not to a very overcrowded Zouk.
Definitely not to a crowd with poseurs who think they are hardcore trancers when they've only heard of Armin and are just there for the fuckin hype. What about Joof? Svd? Rvg? Matt Hardwick? Sean Tyas? I hate it.
Sure it was about spreading the music but, I don't know to put it into words. I just hate it.
It was a great set, lasting till 7:15am. 6 hours of absolute trance. Although the 2 tracks from Kyau vs Albert did kind of spoil my mood.
1am-3am was a slightly boring. But the electro tunes saved the 2 hours. Nice.
3am onwards was the real deal and why we even pay to go squeeze with the "crowd".
Communication was the bomb. Followed by some tracks which I'm lazy to write, its going to take forever. lol.
But his set at Zoukout'05 was definitely preferred.
Guess Zouk is just not big enough to contain him. And Paul.

I finally bought my Levis white tab today! Another thing to strike off my wishlist. yeah yeah yeah.
The fella who was suppose to sell me the CDJs went off to korea, so I couldn't test it out last week. Guess its gonna take me a bit more time till he comes back. Hopefully he doesn't sell it of by then. PLEASE!

I think I'm going to feel very bad for missing out on Marco V's gig this coming saturday.
Reason 1: I'm working at the IT Show @ Expo this coming weekend.
Reason 2: Its Alyssa's birthday and I'm going to feel much worse if I don't go.
And, I think Marco will come again sometime next year, till then. :(
Muse is coming too.... Jan 16th I think... yeahhhh
There's just so many things I want to do but I can't seem to afford the time to actually do it.
I want to watch Glastonbury.
I want to spend more time on my music.(sounds like I'm a damn good musician but I'm not but its just something I love)
I want to spend more time studying.
So many things, so little time. Shit.

Econs test is on friday, I haven't even start studying for it. 3 chapters. Really want to know where I stand.

I'm not having so much of a big hope that I'll be actually earning alot next time in my life. Although the degree, Banking & Finance sounds really nice. But I'm actually not very optimistic and mentally prepared that I won't be a banker in the future. Probably I'll just be an analyst or some other shit in a bank. But not a banker. Then again, I'm willing to work hard.

Decided on which day am I going to quit Esprit already. 15th January. Just nice when they submit our punchcards. But, what going to happen all the way until April? Eat grass?
Really considering going back to the nightlife line. I heard there's a new pub in town, called Archipelago, paying $8/hr. Seriously dwelling. But its going to fuck my life upside down again. Should I?

Armin at Zoukout'05. So much better!
Guess some rain accompanying the lasers would do it haha.

First of the Gang to Die

This tune has been ringing in my winamp & my iPOD for awhile. For some guys out there, its an old tune. Ok I'm slow. Not very updated with the progressive rock/whatever genre....
But this is indeed, very good!

Morrissey - First of the Gang to Die

You have never been in love,
Until you've seen the stars,
reflect in the resevoirs

And you have never been in love,
Until you've seen the dawn rise,
behind the home for the blind

We are the pretty petty thieves,
And you're standing on our street.....

where Hector was the first of the gang
with a gun in his hand
and the first to do time
the first of the gang to die.
Oh my...
Hector was the first of the gang
with a gun in his hand
and the first to do time
the first of the gang to die.
Oh my...

You have never been in love,
Until you've seen the sunlight thrown
over smashed human bones
We are the pretty petty thieves,
And you're standing on our street.....

where Hector was the first of the gang
with a gun in his hand
and the first to do time
the first of the gang to die.
Such a silly boy...
Hector was the first of the gang
with a gun in his hand
and a bullet in his gullet
and the first lost lad to go under the sod.

And he stole from the rich and the poor
and the not-very-rich and the very poor
and he stole all hearts away
he stole all hearts away
he stole all hearts away
he stole all hearts away

Thanks Andee for the intro.

Good times.

Hello world.
sorry for the lack of updates.
Haven't really got the time to really sit infront of my computer and really type something out.
My last post was about 2 weeks ago if I'm not wrong.

Here's some brief stuff and maybe some thoughts on what I did for the past weeks, forgotten some of the dates though...
anyway, the repair cost of my headphones cost a bloody $40.
Fuck.

31st Oct Halloween
I spent my Halloween at Amanda's house chilling with some Chivas on the table. Playing some drinking games. Oh no not the "Ring of Fire" but instead, "Ling Ling Qi BANG!" & "Big Fish Small Fish".
K it sounds kind of lame but hey! These games make you laugh!
I believe laughter & fun is more important then acting mature and stuff. Not doing some big actions in the public of course. Contra.
Some pictures from that night...

The lead actors.

a smoking zann & a spastic ivan

why the hell did I act retarded with him?

whats he trying to do now?

"Haii yahhhhh!!!"

Happy Halloween!!
not in pictures (Alyssa, Greentea, Amanda & Amanda'sfriend)

1st Nov
We've finally had our birthday dinners. Me and Sim. Together with Mike and Moses. The usual guys.
At my dad's workplace, continental buffet. Same thing, ate alot, except the teppanyaki guy is kinda lousy in the way he cooks. Oh well. Nevermind. :)

3rd Nov
Zouk. We Love House. Cheryl's Birthday. Happy Birthday girl. Abit late on the blog but all the bestest in your future.
Enjoyed myself that night even though it wasn't trance but it seems like everyone was there. Oh well, no discrimination of any genres.
One man's meat is another man's poison.

Got back my test results for IR last week.
VERY DISAPPOINTED. (is the spelling right?)
I flunked it, all because of my own careless mistakes.
I did an essay on State and Non-State Actors and a discussion on the North Korean Nuclear Crisis.
I did not write an example to support my explainations of State and Non-State actors. Fuck!
Practically it was myself who blew it.
I only have myself to blame.
I'm really afraid of this subject. (Most feared infact!!!)
Yes its interesting, and i hope to get some good grades from it.
Problem is, how do I do it?
My knowledge isn't there, I guess i probably have alot of reading to do.
And I really mean alot.
God bless me. PLEASE!

Watched "The Sinking of Japan" last week with Jeremy and Mike last thurs.
Of course, it was after our PBF test. My most feared subject. After IR of course.
I think I can score pretty well, pretty confident.
Anyway it was a nice show, nice effects.
And there's a really good joke inside. Go watch it and find out. Hahaha.
Hint: Its supposed to be touching, but I found it very amusing that I cracked out. Not just me, but the dudes infront of me too.

Jeremy is sending me some leet clips as of now.
Some clips that just brings back the memories...
Those kind of clips that you would shout...
"OH MY GOD!!! THATS SO FUCKIN OLD SKOOL!!! I WATCHED IT BEFORE!!! DAMN NICE!!!"
msg me if you want me to share with you.
that is if you have my msn. ha!

Should I sell my Vestax PCV-275 and get a Pioneer DJM500 instead?
*Ponders*
Its time to start selling my records, not all though...
that is, if anyone still wants them...

The lineup for the next few weeks
26th Nov: Armin van Buuren
2nd Dec: Marco V
9th Dec: Ferry Corsten; Ben Sims; Matthew Dekay; Cuban Brothers
Come on, give Trance a chance!
Especially you Clara!!! (if you're reading)

Some pics from Gabriel & Dresden

Hello world. fugly me!

Fun times. Make it last. Polaroid so damn beautiful.

Ps: the G&D pics were not taken by a Polaroid. Its pretty obvious. Unless you're so stupid to actually think its a Polaroid. I just said Polaroid because I'm listening to Polaroid so damn beautiful. Sorry for the attitude, just felt like typing that.
