Gaki No Tsukai ya Arahende

Here's some videos I'm crazy about recently...

Its a show in Japan and the name of it is Gaki no Tsukai ya Tarahende.

The youtube measurements are alittle tad too big for my blog, so I'll just post the links.
You guys should watch it.
Its REALLY REALLY FUNNY.
Unless you have a different sense of amusement...

yet another football post

If you had read the recent footballing news...
Match fixing allegations have hit my favourite footballing nation, Italy, and my favourite club, Juventus.

Many people have disturbed me, saying the Juve could be relegated to Serie B,
laughing at my beloved club.
I didn't expect things could be this way.
Its not within my power to do anything.

Well, fuck you all.
My support for the club will always be there.
Its a real test of your support of the team.

Sidetracking a little.
In my previous post, people were scoffing off Italy.
I was browsing in Kinokuniya a few days back and I was flipping through this magazine called NewMan.
Or was it something else? Fuck it.
It was a singapore magazine.
There was an article on the coming World Cup.
There was this particular column about how many world cups each nation had won.
And they wrote Italy.
Only 2.
1934 & 1938.
Where's our 1982?
From here you can see, singaporeans don't give credit to Italy.
Only to the very muched overhyped England.
True they are strong.
But come on, what about the other teams in the world?
We only believe what the papers say.
They talk about England all day long. 24/7.
Although we didn't do well for the past few campaigns but we ain't 3 time champions for nothing.
What the fuck about England?
Only that 1 miserable pathetic time which was 1960?
Fuck off.
We have a strike force whose depth can only be matched by Brazil.
And our strikers are proven. On international level.
Boring football?
Its not the player's fault. Its the coach.
I'm not saying England's not good but I'm just simply pissed off by the way the Azzurri is painted in the papers.
And everyday when I buy the newspapers to read footballing news its as if I just bought the London times.
We shouldn't call the footballing column a footballing column anymore.
We should just call it, England's world cup column.
Not just Italy, and Argentina too.
Just not enough credit to them.
Respect.

Well back to the topic,
what would you people do if the team you support since young did that too?
Would you jump ship?
I bet you will.
Everyone supports only the biggest teams.
If they fall, the "supporters" would go ahead and support another team.
I wouldn't call them football fans.
Poseurs they are.
For they know nuts.
All they know is just to criticise, criticise and criticise.
Saying this no good, that no good.

Like the match last night between Barcelona and Arsenal.
Come on man, everyone who saw the match could agree that Arsenal were the more dangerous side.
To me, they are the true champions of Europe this season.
And to those people who don't give credit to the opposition who had played well,
please. Do me a favour.
Don't ever, call yourselves football fans.

Forza Italia.
Forza Juventus.

Domo.

Here's something very cool I saw on Rakuten...

http://www.rakuten.co.jp/instinct/407741/490787/

Here's another one...
Its a little outdated but nevertheless...
Some may find it lame, but many find it funny...

yooHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Was watching "I not Stupid Too" yesterday.
Well, I'm a little slow but...
The story does actually reflect on the current problems of the society.
I wouldn't say current.
It started way back in the 90s. During my time.
But during my time, if I had to make any comparisons to the show, I would dare say ours was worse off.

Back in my days (boy do I sound old), there was only 2 choices to make.
Either you were the prey, or you were the predator.
Either be what we labelled as nerd back then, or be a pure singapore made ah beng.
There was no trend back then.
No hip-hop.
No jap style.
No street.
No vintage
To eat or be eaten.

Fights happened regularly after school.
Rules were super strict.
The more strict the rules were, the more rebellious we were.
I wouldn't call myself a pioneer of that generation who started it all, but I was once part of it.
Gangs, fights, smoking.
You name it, we've done it.
I'm not trying to brag how "Sud" I was back then, I never was.
But there were similarities between the 2 generations.
Parents had no time for us etc etc etc.

Behold, the truth about the Singapore society.
A first world country with a third world thinking.
Where art, creativity is often viewed as nonsensical stuff. A waste of time.
Its not going to get you anywhere.
Time should be spent studying.
Be a doctor, lawyer or an engineer.

For the people of my generation,
Regconition from parents for something you excelled in or was interested in was a minority.

Its not so bad now.
We are opening up. Thats a good thing.
But its all too late.
Just too late.

The Cardigans
"Don't Blame Your Daughter (Diamonds)"

Don't blame your daughter
that's just sentimental
and don't blame your mom
for all that you've done wrong
Your dad is not guilty
you came out a little faulty
and the factory closed
so you can't hold them liable
You come from an island,
you're cutting diamonds
with a rubbery knife
Your autograph is worthless
so don't send me letters
and don't mail me cash
'cause your money is no good
What's left in your matress
is holes and lack of love left
some hair from a horse,
and none of it is yours, man
You come from an island,
you're cutting diamonds
with a rubbery knife
And the song you sing today
wasn't always in your head,
the words you tryin' to say
are the ones you shouldn't 've said
they're glistenin' like diamonds,
go out and find' em
but don't blame your daughter
Read me your tombstone,
tell me you're sorry,
fax me your will,
you owe me something still
Blood is like water
the bath that you poured me
has drained and it's gone,
don't blame it on your son
And the song you sing today
wasn't always in your head,
the words you tryin' to say
are the ones you shouldn't 've said
they're glistening like diamonds,
go out and find'em
The world is full of diamonds
go out and find'em
but don't blame your daughter

Turbulent times

Open up The New Paper, and its England everywhere.
England.
Overhyped and without Rooney, they are gone fucks.
Germany.
Home ground advantage.
Everyone says Brazil.
True, they are the ones to beat.

What about Argentina?
People say they always self detonate.
But remember they have a lot of talent in the squad.

Italy?
People don't give a chance to Italy.
Especially singaporeans.
Right. We may play boring football in the past. Catenaccio.
But under Lippi, we are attacking.
We are not 3 time World Cup winners for nothing.
We boast some of the world's best attackers.
Bless you ignorants.

Italy's World Cup Squad

Goalkeepers: Buffon (Juventus), Peruzzi (Lazio), Amelia (Livorno)

Defenders: Zambrotta (Juventus), Nesta (Milan), Cannavaro (Juventus), Grosso (Palermo), Zaccardo (Palermo), Barzagli (Palermo), Materazzi (Inter), Oddo (Lazio)

Midfielders: Camoranesi (Juventus), Pirlo (Milan), Gattuso (Milan), De Rossi (Roma), Perrotta (Roma), Barone (Palermo)

Reserves: De Sanctis (Udinese), Bonera (Parma), Marchionni (Parma), Semioli (Chievo)

These are bad times for my beloved club, Juventus.
Even if they go to Serie B, they will still have my support.

Forza Juventus
Forza Azzurri

Happy Mother's Day

Today is Mother's Day

although it has already passed for like 15 minutes.

Had a good dinner with my family today.
Quality time spent.
Except for my irritating niece.
Who is absolutely spoilt.

Thats the damn reason I don't really like kids.
They're cute from age 0 to 5.
Anything onwards they are downright irritating.

Until they finally seen the light.

Sorry for all that I've made you worried in the past Mum.
Sorry for all the past troubles.

I love you Mum.

Happy Mother's Day.

Eighty-eight days and counting

You point your finger at someone, there's still 3 fingers pointing back at you.

Sabotage.
Don't push it too far.
Don't overdo it.
Don't be too much.

You wreck someone's career, someone else would come along and do the same to you.
Maybe not now, maybe later in the future.

Retribution.
I strongly believe in it.
Do you?

What goes around, comes around.

88 more days.
Counting down.

Mission Impossible

My com died on me a few days back...
miraculously,
I revived it.
It was just a problem of spoilt ram.

But the warning signs were there.
I need a new com.
And it just throws everything I had in mind off its track.
Financial problems.

Nothing with my family.
Its just me.

And now the damn PC comes up with problems that will occur in the near future.
My current one is about 5 years old already.
Well its about time to change.
But where's the money?
You expect me to stretch my hand out and ask for money?
I'm not that sort of guy.
Progress package.
Yup, and hopefully my brother, who uses the com too, will contribute.
Its all in that 1 word. Hopefully. I doubt so.

I have second thoughts about studying already.
And its all financial problems.
Like what I typed just a few lines up,
Its just me.
My family is supporting my school fees,
I'm already feeling bad enough.
I don't intend to take any money from them, like what I've been doing for the past 2 years.
But without the $700 a month, where am I gonna find the money to survive?
Food?
Transport? From Pasir Ris to Clementi and changing a bus to SIM for 4 days a week is a killer.
Although school is only from Mondays - Thursdays, 0900HRS - 1300HRS,

I need a damn job.
A part time one.
At least $600 a month.
But...
UOL assigments are famous for their difficulty.
I still need time to do my assignments, to study.
Where on earth do I find a job like this!?

Sounds Ethan Hunt doesn't it?

Anyone out there with a job that can fufill those conditions?
I need a lifeline.
