Here's something very cool I saw on Rakuten...

Here's another one...
Its a little outdated but nevertheless...
Some may find it lame, but many find it funny...

yooHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Was watching "I not Stupid Too" yesterday.
Well, I'm a little slow but...
The story does actually reflect on the current problems of the society.
I wouldn't say current.
It started way back in the 90s. During my time.
But during my time, if I had to make any comparisons to the show, I would dare say ours was worse off.

Back in my days (boy do I sound old), there was only 2 choices to make.
Either you were the prey, or you were the predator.
Either be what we labelled as nerd back then, or be a pure singapore made ah beng.
There was no trend back then.
No hip-hop.
No jap style.
No street.
No vintage
To eat or be eaten.

Fights happened regularly after school.
Rules were super strict.
The more strict the rules were, the more rebellious we were.
I wouldn't call myself a pioneer of that generation who started it all, but I was once part of it.
Gangs, fights, smoking.
You name it, we've done it.
I'm not trying to brag how "Sud" I was back then, I never was.
But there were similarities between the 2 generations.
Parents had no time for us etc etc etc.

Behold, the truth about the Singapore society.
A first world country with a third world thinking.
Where art, creativity is often viewed as nonsensical stuff. A waste of time.
Its not going to get you anywhere.
Time should be spent studying.
Be a doctor, lawyer or an engineer.

For the people of my generation,
Regconition from parents for something you excelled in or was interested in was a minority.

Its not so bad now.
We are opening up. Thats a good thing.
But its all too late.
Just too late.

The Cardigans
"Don't Blame Your Daughter (Diamonds)"

Don't blame your daughter
that's just sentimental
and don't blame your mom
for all that you've done wrong
Your dad is not guilty
you came out a little faulty
and the factory closed
so you can't hold them liable
You come from an island,
you're cutting diamonds
with a rubbery knife
Your autograph is worthless
so don't send me letters
and don't mail me cash
'cause your money is no good
What's left in your matress
is holes and lack of love left
some hair from a horse,
and none of it is yours, man
You come from an island,
you're cutting diamonds
with a rubbery knife
And the song you sing today
wasn't always in your head,
the words you tryin' to say
are the ones you shouldn't 've said
they're glistenin' like diamonds,
go out and find' em
but don't blame your daughter
Read me your tombstone,
tell me you're sorry,
fax me your will,
you owe me something still
Blood is like water
the bath that you poured me
has drained and it's gone,
don't blame it on your son
And the song you sing today
wasn't always in your head,
the words you tryin' to say
are the ones you shouldn't 've said
they're glistening like diamonds,
go out and find'em
The world is full of diamonds
go out and find'em
but don't blame your daughter
