Life of a 8-5 Personnel

finally, i've been chosen to go as a instructor for the coming Field Defense Course, which is like tomorrow.
I spent the week on a 8-5 basis.
Now i realise the life of a 8-5 personnel.

Up Lah.

basically, you arrive in base at 8. have breakfast at the canteen till 9. Then you slack around, go for a little lessons and talk a little bullshit with your mates and you realise suddenly its lunch time which is 12.
quick lunch at the canteen or the pantry, and you can a little nap or play pool till 1:30pm.
and its back to the after breakfast routine and presto! Its 5pm!
time to fuck off.
Nothing later then that.
Life's good uh? maybe its because we are on course to prepare us for the instructorial role ahead of us.
Life can't be anything better then this.

I'll be staying in with the new trainees from now onwards for the next 12 weeks.
Its like having nights off every week cause there's a total of 8 instructors during the course.
theres only a need for 2 to stay behind in the night.
And the rest of the 6?
Off we go...
But i don't think we'll be heading home or what. Its kinda... "buey steady" to actually pangseh ya mates.
maybe just supper at changi village. haha.

caught Batman Begins on thursday with bennett. See? the priviliges of 8-5! you get to watch movies everyday!
its a well done movie, with the Batman being one of the coolest i have seen compared to previous Batman movies. perhaps its the actor, he protrays Bruce Wayne so well. forgotten his name but hey its definitely worth the money catching that movie. The next movie i'm gonna watch is gonna be Initial D. I'm not a car fan or what but the publicity surrounding it has got me curious to actually go catch it.

went to orchard to do some shopping yesterday with michael. bought myself 3 tees. mainly 2 from Fragile and 1 from Headline. i don't have a cam so i can't post any pics here.
met up with ivan and liwei much later for some dinner and coffee.
slacked around town and accompany ivan to grab his iPOD mini.
its not for him. its for nicole.
awww.... so sweet.
well its good to be in love isn't it?
went to Transient @ Onyx with SolarStone later with liwei. It was my first time at the newly opened club. Not to mention Centro because i've been to centro countless of times. but it was a virgin trip to Onyx.
there wasn't much difference in the layout but the DJ console was definitely higher. You can't even see the hands of the DJ! Yukun played a dope warmup set, ending his warm up with Cern - The Message (Southern mix) on a high note.
Sadly, solarstone cutted off his sound and begun their set kinda slowly, slowly building up the musical journey and dropping tracks like Jump the next Train, Beautiful things along the way. The vibe was pretty good and i was kinda surprised to see that the dancefloor was still crowded at 3am in the morning. but it wasn't to last, at around 4, there were still people on the dancefloor, around 20-25. which was very little compared to an hour earlier. Me and felix presumed that the set started too slowly and the "harder & techy" tracks came a little too late to actually keep the crowd going. ahh... singaporeans. The duo were giving out free gifts like vinyls to the crowd. ok it was only vinyls haha. I got hold of one of them! it was a white label, but i assume its Jump the next train as what they've written on the sleeve of Lionel's vinyl. Maybe its some new mix they've done. who knows? They ended their set at around 4:30 with one of their famous tracks, Seven Cities. And an encore of Motorcycle's As the Rush Comes (Sweeping Strings remix).

Spent the whole day today practically in limbo. slacked around the whole day, packing my stuff and preparing for a stay in life again.
don't kinda mind staying in cause it saves me alot of money actually hahaa

Guoliang's gonna leave for Qatar tomorrow for a month. Good luck bro, take care of yourself. Bon voyage.
