Just added a new link in my Essential Links column...Yes, its Ishkur's Guide to Electronic Dance Music yet again!
well, its a really good general guide for people who defines every single electronic genre and sub-genre as "TECHNO".
I think you should really go read up, listen to the various music, and stop associating good music with The Kings of Cheese Crazyfrog and DJ Sammy.

Remember, as I have said, its only a rough guide to this genre of music, some of the comments by the creator are somewhat funny, and biased to certain genres.
Go through the guide, and you might find something you like infact.
